Good

The breakfast was good at a reasonable price. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Very peaceful and quiet. I would visit again.

The bathtub wasn't releasing water freely to the drain. There was no stopper for the kitchen sink. The outside walls have spiderwebs.

The first room we received had a big yellow round stain on the white linen. The shower was dirty and only a few nozzles worked out of the shower head. The bathroom door was broken. The receptionist was very accommodating and allowed us to change rooms which we appreciated

I like the fact that the resort was in port edward which is the place I and the family wanted to visit for years however the facility was not what we see on the advert, no lift in the facility and we had to eat out

My review

I would like more utensils in the kitchen. We had 1 glass 2 bowls 2 plates. Would be nice to have more cutlery and maybe saucers or side plates. A toilet brush would definitely be a requirement.

We didn't like that something from our medical bag was taken. This was the first time that something was taken and I was disappointed. We thought maybe it fell off the bag and searched all over. But it wasn't found. I really don't like to complain because we always book at the Premier.

Peaceful location with clean rooms

The rooms are clean and it has all the necessary items needed It even has a kitchen which is great The area is peaceful

I didn’t like that the hotel room doors are hard to close and open As if the doors have rain damage The roads in the hotel don’t have markings or arrows to direct us if we in the right lanes , the hotel parking is far from the reception area The reception area is hard to find I don’t like the fact that the hotel shares its location with a residential complex in such close proximity It seems as if we are in a poorly maintained residential complex instead of an hotel

I was not impressed

The buldings look great from outside.

The hotel could not deliver an iron to the room. The coffee was bad and the head waiter told me that as far as she was concerned the coffee was perfect, i am still shocked. The room was not properly cleaned.

Air conditioner was not working...no maintenance were available to fix had to be moved to another room and there as well the air-conditioner was not working work up at 06h00 to banging and drilling from the next room.

Rooms Clean, comfortable bed

Rooms clean but passages dirty. Wi-Fi not accessible in the rooms. If you need to iron u go to an ironing room. They don’t bring it to your room. We also experienced water shortage during our stay.

The pillows were very comfortable. Environment was so relaxing and calm. Staff were welcoming and food was delicious.

Bed was comfortable. Reception staff was friendly.

Aircon was not working, we asked more than once for it to be checked. Towels weren't changed we used the same towels. Not even 1 spoon was made available. Rooms.aren't well maintained there's dry chewing gum stuck on the ceiling.

The only light was the staff especially a lady by the name...

The only light was the staff especially a lady by the name of Blondie. She lifted our spirits with her steadfast excellent humanity in the midst of that mess. The manager was totally AWOL and hid behind staff.

The fittings and glass on the door were broken, chrome plated areas were rusty, dusty stairway, small bathtub shower that kept sinking underfoot, water stained ceilings, a horrible breakfast that was not even a buffet, old and stained towels and bed linen, there was no cutlery or crockery. The facility though well built is so dissappointingly unkept and not maintained. Whoever is the manager there is clearly incompetent and undeserving of our patronage.

no water at the property in the morning, no balcony chairs for the table even though they are for each apartment (staff didnt even bother to help), no glasses in the apartment, staff were on holiday mode so not helpful at all

Dont bother. Rather pay extra and stay in a clean place. This site doesnt allow me to rate below 1.

Close proximity to road and to the Wild Coast Sun

This "hotel" doesnt seem to have been cleaned since 1980. Its beyond filthy. The staff are all unpleasant. Reception staff need guest relation training. Dont even get me started on how disgusting the bathrooms were. The towels had holes in them and still had the previous guests make up and hair attached to it. Never never never again. Every review I seen online in hindsight has the owner/manager saying the same thing to these very complaints "the relevant departments will be informed and endeavour to do better", since 4yrs ago people are saying your hotel is dirty. And that horrid cat piss smell in the reception, and the bowls of cat food. This isnt the owners home, its a hotel. That was a sign all is not well. Funny, they have wheelchair access to reception but no lift for accessibility for wheelchairs. The view from the room is beautiful, just a pity you can barely see out through that dirty windows. Special requests were made for early check in and only 45mins after our requested time was "clean linen" being delivered. Clearly nothing about this place functions, except the payment process.
